When county prosecutor Erin Castillo is found murdered, her best friend (and ordinary guy) Micah Turner impersonates a detective to solve the case. To do that, he'll have to deal with the three eccentric suspects: a housekeeper with an eye for fashion and a secret, a co-worker of Erin's who seems to hate everyone, and a pizza delivery guy who "just happened" to find the body.
Each clue grows more perplexing than the last... and that's before an unexpected member of the Castillo family shows up. And did we mention the lawn flamingo?
